A 461 Sqn RAAF Sunderland attacks a Type VII U-boat in the Atlantic, mid 1943.
This painting was specially commissioned for the cover of the popular Aeroplane Monthly magazine. They only wanted to use the centre section but I thought I’d paint it in the landscape format to make it a complete picture. The Sunderland is such a joy to paint and this one was no exception.
