Description

Maj George Bostwick of the 56th FG in his P-47 Thunderbolt’ Devastatin’ Deb , shoots down an Me 262 taking off from Parchim airfield on 25th March 1945.

The original 15″ x 11″ (38cm x 28cm) illustration for the Osprey book ‘Allied Jet Killers of WWII.’

(NB. There is a rough edge to this painting which will be covered by any frame, but I thought it worth pointing out at this stage as it’s definitely not postal damage!)

Over a period of nearly 20 years, Mark painted in the region of 150 cover art illustrations for Osprey Publishing (part of the Bloomsbury Publishing Group)

These small but highly detailed 15″ x 11″ illustrations, painted on artboard are highly collectable as the book covers themselves are seen in bookshops around the world.

We now have less than 20 of these beautiful illustrations left for sale, they’re an ideal introduction to collecting original paintings.

If you’re interested in purchasing more then one, then feel free to make an offer!
