Started in July and finished in October, this painting took its time! It depicts Hawker Harts of 11 Squadron on patrol over the North West Frontier in the mid-1930s. It’s a subject that I’ve wanted to paint for years and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although the technical research was very difficult, (The India Harts were unique in several ways). This 36″ x 20″ canvas is now for sale via the link below. As always, all my original paintings are negotiable, especially when purchasing more than one… make me an offer!
